Warcraft Theft Auto позволяет превратить стратегию в экшен. Игроки могут перемещаться по карте пешком, исследовать город, угонять машины и иной транспорт других горожан или даже полиции. Геймеры также могут устраивать драки, давить NPC и просто дебоширить. Для запуска модификации понадобится включение старой графики Warcraft III, при этом аддон совместим с версией Reforged.
